Rebekah Covington

When I think of Steven Whitworth, my first thought about him is that he's a walking dictionary. If I have a question about a subject, he usually knows the answer. If he doesn't, he investigates and comes back with more answers than I expected. He has a unique knowledge about many subjects that many people still need to gain. He is such a joy to work with. I have known him since 2011. We were classmates together at Lamar University. I’ve watched him in many leadership roles. He shows commitment and faith. He is passionate about his students. In addition, I’ve watched how well he supports other teachers. He provides constructive feedback effectively. Now, we are colleagues who teach American Sign Language on different campuses. We still keep in touch every now and then. Every time I talk with him, I always feel refreshed and motivated. He is an influential leader. He will make a difference. He always does. You will not regret working with him.
